Fact 293: When was the first Asterix and Obelix comic translated from French into English?



All the many Asterix comics, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo and was translated from French into English. 
The first Asterix book\ comic to be translated was translated by Anthea Bell and Derek Hockridge, was Asterix the Gaul and it was published by Brockhampton Press in 1969.
