Fact 56: Who brought the Christmas tree to England?

A Lot of people think it is prince Albert (husband of Queen victoria)
This is not the case as the royal family already had German connections and relatives.
 However Prince Albert made them more popular and imported them to England to sell to people. The person who introduced christmas trees to the uk was queen Charlotte the queen consort of king George III (queen Charlotte was born and from Germany).
