Fact 354: How tall is the Taj Mahal?



The Taj Mahal has an area of 17 hectares (42 acres) and was built in 1631 to 1653.
Taj Mahal which is a white marble, built in Agra (India) was built by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
 The Taj Mahal is 73 m (240 ft) tall.
