The Natural History Museum has about seven million vertebrate, invertebrate and plant fossils in their collection. 

The Head of the Museum, which The Natural History Museum refers to as the Director, is Dr Doug Gurr, Dr Doug Gurr was appointed Director of The Natural History Museum in 2020 (in December). 
Dr Doug Gurr was the global vice-president and head of Amazon UK from 2016 to 2020.
