Fact 329: How many Banksy Di-Faced Tenners are there in the world?



There are around 100,000 Di-Faced (as in Princess Diana faced) Tenners in "circulation", because Banksy printed £1million worth of Di-Faced Tenner notes for a stunt Banksy did in 2004. Banksy admitted to forging a total of £100 million Di-Faced Tenner notes, most of which are still owed by Banksy. Banksy admitted to this in his 2010 documentary, film Exit Through The Gift Shop in which he shows Terri Guetta a cardboard box full of Di-Faced Tenners. 

The British Museum has a Di-Faced Tenner on display in the room with real and fake coins, metals and other currency stuff and I have actually seen the Banksy Di-Faced £10 note in the British Museum.
