The answer is yes King Charles is in fact desensitised from the person who was the inspiration for Count Dracula, King Charles III is interestingly his great grandson 16 times removed through King George V's (wife) Queen consort Mary.
Count Dracula is based on Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia although Vlad III is better known as Vlad the Impaler and Vlad Dracula Vlad's surname is Tepes and he is from Romania was in born 1431 and died in 1476.
Vlad the Impaler was Abraham Stoker's (also known as Bram Stoker's) inspiration for Dracula.
