Without taking pedestals into account the answer is not, Christ the Redeemer (98 feet tall) located on the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), it is in fact, the Christ the Protector, which is located in Encantado in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Christ the Protector is also the tallest statue of Jesus in the world at an impressive 123 feet (37.5 meters), the joint second tallest statues of Jesus in the world is Poland's Christ the King and Bolivia's Cristo de La Concordia are both 108 feet (33 meters)
