Fact 176: Does Sir David Attenborough have a Dragonfly named species after him?

The answer is yes In celebration of his 90th birthday on the May 8th 2016, Sir David Attenborough had a species of Dragonfly named after him, the Dragonfly is scientificly called Acisoma attenboroughi, the common (unscientific) name for the Dragonfly is, Attenborough's pintail. The Attenborough's pintail is only found in the wild on the island of Madagascar (officially the Republic of Madagascar).
